New Beginnings
I’m finally back in my office again and I’m thrilled that a spot opened up on the main level so now I have a window which is exciting, although it was raining earlier this week I’m still grateful to be on a schedule again. My dog Buttons is not so excited since he was getting used to having me at home with my ankle elevated on pillows all winter, I think he thought I took a very early retirement. “Not so Buttons” but I have had time to rethink my goals and having the time off this winter gave me lots of time to think about what I want to do when I grow up and my intuition is quietly leading me down a different path.

More and more I’m feeling pulled to do more writing and while I kept putting it off into the future sometime I’m beginning to rethink my timeline. I wonder if I’m afraid to call myself a Writer or to call out a lofty goal of publishing a book; the more I think about it I know it’s an attainable goal. Over the last two years my business has been interrupted with life events; the loss of my father and the unexpected loss of my sister last year and just when business was moving along quite smoothly I fell and broke my ankle and the complications around that event put me out of commission for several months.
Thankfully I’ve had the practice of writing my blogs and newsletters over the last 18 months, meanwhile I’ve been gathering ideas and material for future writing opportunities. One of the projects I want to do is to transcribe some of my father’s stories from his military and prisoner of war experience, he asked me to do this years ago but I turned him down because I didn’t feel qualified to write about the war, maybe life experience is all I really need to fulfill a long overdue promise.
I’m exploring some other employment opportunities where I can share my passion and expertise so stay tuned for more to come.
Enjoying my life!
